HALF-DAY ROCK BAND CAMP

Come join the rock band! You'll learn what it takes to play in a band and end the week with a performance at the Linden Hills Live! Each band will learn songs within the campers repertoire and classic rock favorites. Each band will be able to accomidate diferent levels of playing and will be coached and directed by teachers from the Linden Hills and Lake Harriet House of Music.

-Alls instruments and voice welcomed! Ages 10-14 or by staff approval.

GUITAR CAMP - Guitars, Gear & Gadgets!
Learn all about guitars and the gear used to make them sound awesome! How to jam with your friends, write songs and record them!
There are many "tricks of the trade" when it comes to electric guitars, pedals and amplifiers. We'll uncover some of them by introducing campers to stomp boxes that will transform their electric guitar sound and help them discover their own personal sound.
We'll experiment with guitars, amps and pedals tohear what they sound like and how they are used. We'll compose and record a song. Each camper will go home with a recording of the song they participated in!

July 30 - August 2, 9:00-12:00

MUSIC AND PIANO FOR THE YOUNG ONES
This class is designed specially for children ages 4-5 who show an interest in music or a desire to play an instrument. This introduction to piano and general musical concepts is for the early beginning students who aren’t quite ready for private lessons. The instructor combines a fun musical experience with an introduction to learning about music. The curriculum has a wide variety of exciting musical elements including story telling, games, varried musical styles, piano playing and exposure to other instruments. This class is sure to spark the musical interest of the younger student.

Classes are scheduled as needed. Parents are encouraged to form their own groups or we can pair students of similar age and availability. It's a great part of a weekly play date with friends!

Half hour long each class for 6 weeks

Class sizes are 3-5 kids per class- Each child pays $17 per class.

BAND COACHING
Is your band stuck in a rut? Still haven't managed to get that firs gig? Let one of our experienced staff come coach your band and lead you to your destination. Whether your shooting for that first gig or preparing for a recording session, don't waste any more time and learn to make rehearsals more productive and effitient.

$50 for a two hour rehearsal, or et three rehearsals for $135.
